New firmware that allows sampling is freakin awesome!!!

New bass update - This thing is ridiculous. I'm chuffed. I've been practicing some less ambient stuff, but also getting some ideas that I'll work on recording this week. I'm practicing using Bass Aerobics, which I believe @ugly_bassplayer suggested years ago.
I'm working on selling off a few things. Cleaning out some accumulated distortion pedals. Getting ready to move several modules out. I want to make some space and raise some funds to experiment with new toys, as well as pay off the new bass.

When I was listening to demos I was getting an "FM chord drones" vibe, and wondering if they were making something that could replace my Akemie's Castle. This goes well beyond that in possibilities though. I think I'm going to just have to buy it and then see what happens.

I wish that Korg Acoustic Synthesis Phase 5 thing was going to be a real product. It's like a tiny Rhodes with an eBow for every tine.
Out of respect for @ugly_bassplayer ’s walls I’ll refrain from posting the Teenage Engineering new product drops. But if you need a new mic or a field recorder and you’ve got the coin, they’ve got stuff you might want to look at.

This multifx has been on sale for a moment on local musicians Craigslist. I've been eyeballing it, now I offered MXR in exchange.
