just pull the preamp out. I did on mine and it sounds much better.

Any Schecter owners out there?

just pull the preamp out. I did on mine and it sounds much better.
I bought an Evil Twin a year ago after falling in love with the tone, for Christmas, my wife bought me a Stealth 4 string. Equally enjoyable for a 500 and under bass. The Twin was around $1300. I have to admit, they are both extremely comfortable, have fast necks and don't weigh a lot. Winners to me.
That is a beauty. Lol, now this thread is giving me bass envy even though I’m a happy customer!
I don't currently have a Schecter, but I've got the Stiletto Studio-6 FL on my radar for a fretless.
My Schecter Stiletto Studio 8 is the most comfortable bass I own ...and the cheapest!
fwiw I also own a Schecter Venus B/4 from the 1980s, back when they were made in America and designed by David Schecter & Tom Anderson. Now that baby is a whole 'nother kind of amazing beast, very different from the current Schecter line up. Even more badass, if such a thing is possible.

Oh I have I just never saw a picture of one that really struck me. Always stock photos or poorly lit ones
I missed my chance at this when it was on reverb. It's the exact way I would have wanted it. Even the color is perfect for it. They would have sold more I think had it been this exact color and pickup placement

Not in a band, a beginner player, but I'm in love with the sound, everything about Schecter hits me in the heart. I'm seriously obsessed with these basses. Though I will sadly sell my two Extremes, in hopes of a Banshee shortie 5 comes out.

I love those! Saw one at my local shop, Drum City Guitar Land and they're really nice in person.
