Yes but all the Black Friday violence and trampling will result in great corporate profits. And generate a great deal of taxes revenue to be used for corporate welfare hand outs.

Hey you'd be surprised at what you can end up making at wally world if you can stick it out through the degradation from both customers and managers. I couldn't. The black fridays were entertaining though.
After my apparent mini black Friday dbag incident,I'm avoiding that place like the plague.
I used to do overnight restocking while in school. In 98/99 I made $5 an hour plus a 1$ midnight shift premium. I like the overnights cuz the store was closed. No public. Except for xmas season when there was 2 hours over lap for extended shopping hours
Managers were horrible. And we got searched every morning before leaving the store. Every Christmas we got 15% off one regular priced item.
I last 4 months before realizing of all the jobs I'd had as a student. This was the very bottom. Warehouses, chemical factories. Even a Canadian paperboy in temperatures 30 degrees below zero. All were better than Walmart

I have to put a sweater on just thinking about when I was in Thunder Bay. Yikes, that's cold even for me.
I went back and forth between overnight stocking and the deli department, our store was open 24 hrs. I would have stayed overnight but the deli always needed help, it's maybe the most dreaded department to work at so new hires don't last and employees don't transfer. The little old ladies in the deli loved me and still try to get me to come back 4 years later. I was making $11 an hour when I quit.

To OP - you had to tell to Dbag that this bass is good for nothing and you are glad to see that hi would get it not you.This should get back him off for sure without any argue.
I'd love to see how all the people in this thread claiming the bass was fair game would actually react if someone snatched it from under them when they had put it down seconds earlier, were still within arms reach of it, and were almost 99% likely to still be interested in it. I've put a bass I was testing down against an amp to take my coat off before...does that mean in those few seconds if someone came up and grabbed it I should just sigh and let it go?
It wasn't within arms reach. The number of steps away that the OP took has changed a few times throughout the story, but it wasn't within arms reach. Even if it was, he (the OP) grabbed the bass out of the guy's (the dbag's) hands . That was the douschiest move of the whole debacle.
