Avatar SB112 with MID !!!!!! The SB126

Well... after using cabs with just a driver and a tweeter for a lot of years -- it's different. The tone controls on the amp actually are more useful with this cab. Also the mid driver can be adjusted to match the output of the 12 which I was worried about being able to do. I got Delta LF but I have 2 - SB112's with the Neo driver. When I get a chance I'm going swap out and see which one I like better. Somewhere down the line I may upgrade the 6" mid driver but it's fine for now. Got some gigs this weekend will no more after this weekend.. but for now I like what I'm hearing.
I have an SB112 NEO also and was wondering how one would stack with the new SB126! Bet it would be good!
This is a very interesting solution, I currently have a TB153, but have been looking to go to a a set of 2 smaller lighter cabs for greater flexibility.
Im currently playing in a band playing mostly classic rock covers, and running a Squier VMP5 strung with TI flats through a Streamliner 900. How is the low end with these SB126's?

IMO, Avatars OEM neo (the one based on the Deltalite) isn't much if any higher spl than a stock ceramic mag. Delta12LF. Maybe 1db or something. A stock Kappalite isn't much more sensitive in the lows than that, maybe another db.
All three of those drivers run somewhere 94-96db in their lower end/low mids, etc. That makes them a pretty good balance with that closed back 6"...and...one of those 6's could concievably hang with 2 woofers if prominent uppermids aren't a goal. "Present", just not "prominent".
That's assuming relatively "even"speaker response, which could be corrected for, or undone, just by moving a tone knob on the amp a notch or two.
The biggest difference in all those woofers will be their different tones in the topend of their range, along with how much deep lows they can do before fartout. Below 1khz, their 1 watt spl isn't going to vary all that much. Certainly not enough to make one cab sound "lopsided" in comparison to another. The differences will become apparent as you pour on the power (along with their topend differences, which will make much more noticable tone differences to our ear).

Maybe it's because I'm looking at it on my phone but the 6th paragraph down does not have anything shown in bold in the above.
Also on a laptop, on the Avatar site. The SB12 is only listed with a Ceramic, or neo, Delta 12 LF, with a Foster horn/tweeter. I see no mention of other drivers, let alone a 6 mid with crossover options. Where are you guys finding these options ?

I'd like to hear some comparisons between the Faital driver and the OEM Avatar. I have the 15 Faital in a Greenboy cab that has become my fave 15 for bass.
