Just send Dave a message or call him. I doubt he would discontinue it after it got free press here at Talkbass! This is the guy who built a cabinet specifically for Talkbass members!!

Just talked to Dave and placed an oder today. Seemed like a swell fellow. I had similar questions and he stated that they are swamped with new orders from Black Friday and will update the website when they can.

Here is part of my order:

Not a bad price considering most other " custom " cabs like this are usually in the $700 -800 neighborhood.

I like the factory direct business model. It takes a little longer to get your product but you can customize it and the price is lower. The nearest large pro-level music store is like 380 miles from me so.....

I have a a few 210s in my possession and I plan on putting together a video comparing this solo cab with others. I plan on using it solo with my NS Design NXT4 at jazz gigs and paired with a SB210 on my higher volume gigs with my Carvin SB5000.

I read through a lot of Talkbass threads on Avatar speakers so I plan on sharing my experience quid pro quo.

I had an enjoyable experience talking to Dave on the phone. Ask him what Avatar means.

The base model + 6” speaker swap is quite a deal. I used to hate carpet but now that people can't smoke in the bar no more, it ain't so bad.

There's a lot to be said for the carpet. But then, I don't have cats. Once, long ago, I was delivering an SWR Silverado Special to a buyer. I wheeled it into his house. His cat immediately came over and started doing it's thing. He just laughed. I did not..

I started a thread requesting suggestions for a cab for my son for Christmas. I've decided to get him the new B2126. 8 ohms. Ceramic drivers 'cause he's young. Carpet. Metal grill. He will love it!
Incidentally, will Avatar install castor sockets?

Just ordered the B2126 with the two Delta 12 LF. 4 ohm. Talked to Dave quite a while. His thoughts, since this is for my kid, the ceramics would be better. Higher power handling. Plenty of grunt. He has had the same Ampeg combo for almost five years. He won't bother with another cab so 4 ohms will be fine. This will be powered by a G-K 400RB-iv. I think it will be louder and better than his Ampeg BA-115. Fer sher..
Edit: Avatar won't do castors. And Dave advised against it. Dolly board would be better.
