Two Big Twins? - with a slave amp, or does your amp do 2ohms?
The 1515/66/T has staggered woofers (boo), and the Big Twin has vertical woofers (yea).![]()
Yeah gonna hafta rock a big nasty crown power amp for this....
multi woofers in a box - (incidental drivers) vertically aliened woofers are best, with staggered woofers second best and horizontally aliened woofers are the worst.
sonically, that's really only important for mid drivers.
A few degrees off axis for dedicated woofers in a cab with dedicated midrange drivers is nothing you, bandmates, or an audience is ever going to notice.
Probably not, but in theory which is best?
Nah, a 7 pound, 3000 watt peavey ipr would be easier to carry.
Play your bass through a a Peavey IPR 1600 and then plug it into a Crown XTI-1000 or even an XLS 802.... and you'll see immediately why I dont mind the few extra pounds....

Dont doubt it. Cant afford it. Right now it's looking like two BFB Big Twins or one FF 1515/66T.
