There's one thing I'm reminded of by this thread (and ones like it). No matter how pretty, beautiful, gorgeous, hot, awesome, unique, or boutique you think your own bass is...there are others out there that trump it. Lots of great basses in this thread, btw. Me like.

This Ken Lawrence Chamberbass is not mine, but I wish it was. In fact, this is the only KL out there that I like better than my own. Besides the gorgeous top, tasteful shape, and impeccable workmanship, that crazy wooden tailpiece just drives me, well...crazy.
