as i am still alive, this bass is still in my possession. it just turned 2 years old on superbowl sunday (happens to also be Carl's birthday - Happy birthday buddy!!! 74 and going strong!)

This thread is around 3 years old now. I wonder how many basses that have been posted in here are still with the owner that posted them. I bet it's not all of them....
This one is a "to the grave" bass. Well, except that my g/f said she wants it when I kick the bucket...
Personally, I don't own any physical possession (bass or otherwise) that doesn't have a price tag. However, I doubt anyone would ever offer me enough to get my first (and only, so far) self-assembled bass out of my hands.

I doubt I will part with my Schecter Raiden. It's certainly not the best you can buy, and it's not in the same category as most of the basses here, but it has sentimental value and I really love the sound I get from it. Perfect living room workhorse, practice bass, or one you don't mind letting people try out.
It's virtually worthless second-hand, anyway, so I have no desire to send it off to a new owner.

Of the 45 I currently own and all the ones I have owned before if I ended up with just these five, or any one of the five for that matter, I would be perfectly happy.
Which Peaveys are these?
I'll never sell my modified johnson precision(basslines and some other little upgrades) because no one would buy it and its my first bass.it means too much to me for me to let it go.If i didnt have that bass,I would cry for several days,and then go buy myself a $50 swap meet bass to keep rocking.
