BC Rich MEGATHREAD

Hey all.. I just picked up my first BC Rich (used) and have a few questions. It is a NJ Series BC Rich Warlock. Is there any way to tell about what year it is? The headstock looks different than any other Warlock basses I have seen. The guy I bought it from said the body has been re-painted (headstock was left alone) and he also had bartolini pickups put in. On the back of the cover for the neck bolts is the number 28311. I assume that would be the serial number.

It does have some stickers on it that I want to remove, but other than that, it seems to be in good condition.
I paid $250 for it. Was that a good deal, or was I a sucker??

Just bought this off of ebay. Havent got it yet but when I do ill take some pictures and see if I can get that quilt top to really shine.

I just got my Warlock back from a setup, complete 'go-over', and a good cleaning (from the pots to the frets), and man, oh man, it's ever better than before! The setup really helped, and some foam under the pickups got me even more heat (especially out of the bridge pup). This thing just sounds SOOOOOO good in a mix!

No gigs yet, but numerous rehearsals (most from before the setup). I just got it back from the shop (Fifth Avenue Fretshop, run by TB's own Uncletoad) last Wednesday.

sweet! i'm still mulling over whether or not i should get that ignitor CS, that new bee stinger or wait on that new mtd jazz...god, i need a third job...

I personally think you should get the CS Ignitor. Beautiful looking basses, though Id probably be really jealous and have to order one in response cuz of all the GAS.

I have a NJ Warlock 5 string, but I just bought a Fender Geddy Lee Jazz so I'm selling. I thought about keeping it for the low B, but I never need it.

oh man, you know what bass I really really want, is a BC rich Ironbird. Those are so sexy. They're just impossible to find, though. I've checked every music shop in the city over and over, and checked ebay every day for about a year...nuthin.

Anybody here who has an ironbird: where'd you get it? And would you sell it?

personally, mournblade, i think your mockingbird is one of the awesomest bc richs ive ever seen. love the way the bridge looks on that thing. and the reverse headstock. love it.

Anyone here win that Rico Mockingbird today on ebay ? It was miss cateragized. I just knew that bass was mine.
It was under custom bass. Not even under the BC Rich name. Sold for 663.00.
