Bergantino AE212; Part 2!!

I go out to mail a package, and by the time I get back, the whole AE thread has gone to hell.
a "package" after all this talk. It is so tempting to take that one and run with it.
Alas, I will leave it alone.

Back to the general topic for a second, spent some time with the AE410, the RH450 and the new P Bass yesterday... VERY nice! I will have one of the new Streamliner 900's in about a week, and am looking forward the checking that out with the P and the AE410.
With my Sadowsky J, the AE212 and the Markbass F500 is as close to perfect (for a fat but clean, articulate tone) as I've ever experienced!
Nice stuff from Mr. Bergantino that continues to sound better and better to me, at home and on the gig!

I have been GASing for an AE212 to run with my SM 12 or my LM3. Any comments of users of these amps with the AE212?
Now comes along the Streamliner and can't wait for Ken's review.

I'm assuming the AE410 is going to be more to my taste with the Streamliner, but I will definitely give it a go with the AE212. Look for clips and a review in about a week.
Both of your heads will sound great with the AE212. Lot's of guys are using the Shuttle 9 with it. The LMII is a bit polite in the low mids for my tone goals with the AE212 (it KILLS with the AE410), but that is pure personal taste... it sounds good... fat, smooth, clean and loud!
I'm hoping that the Streamliner 900/AE212/Rob Allen MB2 package is going to be a winner. Can't wait to try it!
Ken and I have similar setups; I have the MB LMIII and F500, as well as the Berg AE410 and AE212.
I prefer the LMIII and AE410 together, and the F500 with the AE212. I think the AE212 smoothness (well, smooth compared to the AE410...) is complemented by the punchy, biting F500. Similarly, I think the AE410's tighter low end and strong upper-mids pairs well with the LMIII's fatter, smoother sound.
Having said all that, I'm sure I could play the LMIII and AE212 together and be extremely happy. I wouldn't hesitate to take that combo out on any gig; I just happen to have found (like Ken) a slightly better pairing to my ears for each of 'em.
Pretty much the same as the 9.0 that so many have given good reviews of, with a bit less power of course, and the addition of the FET channel. Should be a nice matchup.
Very interesting about the AE212/F500 versus the LMII/III with the AE410 being a more likely pairing. I've been gigging with an LMII / AE410 since they first came out and loving it!
The AE212 is very compelling to me for its form factor, smoother mids, and slightly deeper/bigger sounding low end.
I recently used my Mesa walkabout Head with my Bergie AE410 and it was mind blowing. I never considered it because the Walkabout head is only 300W @4 ohms. But the Bergie AE410 is so efficient and throws so well that it was just amazing! The tube compression and more pillowy lows of the Walkabout really mated sweetly with the AE410. ....So the AE212 now has my attention for its form factor and other attributes. Hmmmm.
