i agree. i think it's a bit silly. either you play bass or you don't, and sex has nothing to do with it.

having said that, julie slick is rapidly becoming a big favorite of mine. but i'd say that even if she was a guy.

I've always been a fan of Nadja Peulen. Others would be Emma Anzai, Sean Yseult....and Tal Wilkenfeld has some killer chops.
