Most people will say tort, but I don't like tort, it's too flashy for my taste.

That looks too plain.
With a black pg, it has to be b/w/b so it has the white outline.

Black looks good with maple board only, IMO.
Tort is alright, but Mint is what I dig. Maple or Rosewood both look good with a Mint guard.

At one point I had 3 black basses, all with white pickguards. Still have 2 of them, but one was changed to white pearloid. Still, hard to beat the classic black and white.
