Big Cabs Club

One serious mismatched rig , Barely cuts it. But with the Fundage situation at present, all I can pull together. 2-15 Crate Cab. Pretty middy, but at the same time easy as heck to muddy up. The Kustom pushes it. The RL118 Carvin Cab carries a pretty good low end and was all i could afford to snag at the moment. The Crate BFX220H Pushes it. The Acoustic 360 Pre controls the Mess.

lol A Little More info. I Made my living playing music in the late 70's early to mid 80's. I Quit playing to Raise a family. That went well too. lol. Just put my name out again and got a gig rather suddenly. lol Hence the Hodgepodge. I made the mistake of giving away my old gear. The rest of the Acoustic Amp ( Acoustic 300 Slave) and My Cerwin Vega B36-MF cab . Had a K151 JBL in it. Man that thing moved air. Have gotten a lead on where my stuff is gathering dust , so I hope to get it back soon.
Not sure what I was thinking when i gave it away.

This is how I do it now, but don't really have any gigs that call for this kinda damage anymore -
pretty much just roll out the GK combo now :atoz: bof

This is how I did it at the turn of the century (late 90's) if I wanted to bi-amp.
Peavey = hi > Marshall 4x12; Sunn slave = lo > Sunn 12+18.

Sunn Coliseum 8028 cab has built in passive x-over as well
(mid: 300w prog ,150w 8o; bass: 400w prog 225w rms 8o)

Wow! Seismic Audio? For real? What did you end up loading it with, or did it come loaded?

How do you like the cabinet build quality?

It came Loaded. Build quality is decent. I mean it was $200 band new. It's really good for the price. The first speakers that came in it fried for some reason, they said they havnt had that problem and thought they were maybe bad speakers to start. They sent me new ones. Those were damaged during shipping. I was dumb and didnt look at them close. I was in a hurry and just threw them in. They started to get buzzing sound after I broke them in. I pulled them out and found out the outside of the speaker baskets were all dented in. SO.... I talked to them again last week and they are Shipping me two more on Monday.

Can i join?
