I will share everything I’ve learned. I’m not one for holding back on sharing knowledge.

Someone once told me that teaching is learning twice.

I know that actually doing the work imparts the deepest understanding, but some of us don't have time/ability/gear to do the deep dive... what learnings can you share with the rest of us?

Question for the CORE owners:
Do the delays have a BPM setting (so not only in ms)? And can you set all increments? And can you also set it in note values (eighth note, dotted eighth etc.)

And how are the bass amp models and effects?

I don’t have one myself but might be interested.
Turn the timing knob on the delays clockwise. Keep going and you'll see note delineations.

Amps are good. Limited, but they are pretty workable. Others have more glowing things to say about the amps, but I use an Olympic in a loop and Kingsley for guitar.

I quite like the bass amps in the CORE. Bear in mind the only “model” in there is Concert which is an SVT model. The rest are generic amps, but they have a depth and feel to them that the Stomp and older Zoom models lack. I have no experience with the B6 so I can’t speak to it.
I like that the CORE amps aren’t modeled after some particular bass amps, and have no pre conceived tone to try and achieve.
The FX are Boss good!

I'm really hoping an update shows up with more actual amp models and some legit synth sounds. Let's all make it happen. Laws of attraction!!

Maybe the Boss SY-1000 is what you need ?
It has all the GT-1000 amp models plus some extras, can do 4 preamps in parallel, and does truck loads of synth tones.

BOSS - SY-1000 | Guitar Synthesizer

From the Roland forums:

SY-1000 has 1 DIV/MIX block, GT-1000 has three.

SY-1000 has 1 SEND/RETURN block, GT-1000 has 2.

SY-1000 has 1 AMP block, GT-1000 has two.

SY-1000 has 3 FX blocks, GT-1000 has 4 (in Mono mode).

The GT-1000 uses 96khz sampling rate, the SY-1000 uses 48khz

The SY-1000 does not have a looper and cannot load IRs
The SY does all the crazy synth/midi stuff whivch the GT does not, obviously.

it would be great if Boss brought their classic COSM Amp models to the GT-1000 in AIRD format

Because pink noise has a spectra the same as musical instruments and natural sounds, it can be useful as a reference tone to check frequency responses in audio systems. It provides an objective perspective as apposed to ears which is subjective. But really it’s just a bit fun to dig a bit deeper in this gadget.

Naw, I dig it. I just wasn't sure what it was all about. I'm always interested in these things. I'm not around it much, so the Pink Noise was new to me, this is the first time I'm hearing about it. It is fascinating.

How does it apply to usage of the Gt1000? I'm seriously interested in knowing this. This is all new to me and has my interest peaked.

Well there’s some gaps in the GTCore Parameter Guide as to what some of the values and measurements are with the settings. Or, what’s the frequency response of the AIRD Amps when they are set flat. There’s also a difference with the frequency response with each of the three AIRD Bass Amps when set flat. The idea came about when @SlowpokeJoe suggested it. It was a light bulb moment for me. It’s easy to set up with the reamping feature in the unit. I have been familiar with pink noise in mixing though, but I’m learning a lot more about it.
