I am on the road heading home now.. Let me take an Iphone pic to post for you in a few minutes..

For some reason I thought that the vintage tint nitro would wear away to leave white looking maple neck.. Silly I guess.

Crappy Cell phone shots.. But i think you get the idea.
This is All Nitro not tinted. But it has turned over the years.. This bass has been around the planet a few times.. And is still my all time fave.. The once Sonic Blue has turned almost a light seafoam green... Depending on light source.
She is sporting FLATS right now...
Its Birthday is coming up in a few days ... :)

Wow! Lots of good stuff coming out lately. I'm really looking forward to your new basses Kirk, can't wait to try them!

And mgrier1, what can I say, nice scores! That Plum Crazy KBP5 is one of the best I've played.

Well, I've been busy with my day job and in turn too tired and lazy to go to the shop and work on my LM5... Fortunately, the best Coppolo bass I've owned is still keeping me in excellent company; my black mamba LG5. It covers everything for me in my 2 bands. Also, for the last month or so I've had the prototype 81009 with me as loaner... Life is good!

Thanks for that Kirk.. Very nice of you.. Love to see basses like these played in. Speaks volumes.
