Got to spend some time in Jimmy's shop yesterday... What a guy he is, it was an awesome hang! Unfortunately I didn't take any pics but my buddy did and I will try to get those - he ordered an LG5 and I am coming back this Saturday to order an LM5 (or maybe an RA5, I don't know)... These basses absolutely kill. We can discuss all day if we want but in my humble opinion Jimmy is the only guy so far who has made a 34" B string sing to me, it is devastating! Can't wait to order mine! :bassist:

Got to play some sweet basses while I was there too... What a day, I wish I had pics to prove it but I know I was there!

Waaaait a minute... don't you already have THREE AC's, one of which already being an LM? What about ME?? I only have ONE, and it's NOT and LM! :)

In other words, I get first refusal before offering it to Ken to snap it up (at least if it's up to me). :)

Congrats Vision! Saturday will be my day, but that's assuming I figure out all the specs this week which is pretty the reason I didn't order one yesterday. I know most of it but have a couple nit-picky things that's got me switching models. I don't think I've seen one like what I have in mind so I'm excited.

Jimmy's got some real choice Ash in the shop, your bass is gonna look hot!

EDIT: To edit my last post regarding my shop visit, I do have 1 pic I found in my cell phone. But in respect to that particular person whose bass is pictured I'd rather not post it at this time. I sent him a pm so he can get the pic first. There is also another bass pictured, I don't know who that one is for.

Sorry I wasn't around to hang at the factory with you guys.
Jimmy just told me that he really enjoyed your visit.

I'm posting to let folks know that I've decided to let go of my new LM5 after all ...
I just can't bear to stick it in a closet for a year or more while I'm away.
It's an amazing axe, as the TB'ers at the last So. Cal Bass Hang can attest to. I'm sure that this is the bass that sealed the deal for YCBass & a few of the other iGig guys to order theirs.

I have it on the F/S page and if it doesn't sell this week, it will be on display @ Bass Player Live in LA 10/24 & 10/25.
