Thanks Peter, I have been really busy and I just got around
to setting it up and spending some time with it today.
It came with Sadowky Blue Nickles on it. They sound okay...
but I'm thinking about putting flats on it.

I tried the Jamerson set on my LG5, turns out they are not at all like the strings on my KBP5, which I will not dare to take off the bass. If you want to try out the Jamersons let me know they are already cut for an AC I can ship them to you to try (not giving them away, just a loaner).

Yesterday I started the year right with my first Argentinian BBQ!!!

To those who were asking about the spalted alder, here are pics of the spalted alder that Jimmy's got in the shop:

I had Jimmy put the TI flats on my KPB-5 and they are fantastic!! Highly recommended!
I have not tried them on my LG-5 yet by will probably do that in the future. I don't do much slapping, so loss of a little "zing" is just fine by me.

No, its got the older body style also with the separate battery compartment at the back.
My other bass will have the newer body style.
Looks sweet Miko congrats....I say put a tort guard on it but that's just me...

The other bass is the bass that I helping Jimmy build, an LG5 Standard but the specs can change. It just got sidetracked by this spalted bass but that one should be done mid this year.
