Can you get single piece ash that big? My Rob Allen Mouse 30 is single piece ash, but it's a very small body.
I know Cliff's usual ash is pretty light. You could always ask for a chamber or two under the top wood for weight reduction. My Ball 4 is insanely light.
I have had super light ash up to 24" wide, as a matter of fact, my Callowhill J(unk) was one of those pieces.
