I really dig this bass from the Warmoth customer gallery. Love the cream bobbin top. Unfortunately the builder (David Reece, Palm Springs, CA) didn't add any details about the pickup. Novak? Lawrence Born? Hammon? Something else?

I did a Darkstar appreciation video with the man who got me into them check it out
I think what I'm going to do this time around is make sure that anybody I owe stuff to gets taken care of - first and foremost - then go nuts and build up some stock in anticipation of future orders and THEN get your permission to let my wife Laurie (she's a licensed psychotherapist and drop-dead gorgeous) take orders and take care of all the email communication for me.
This is partially why I burned out last time...having to do everything. I did everything and I obviously can't do it right.
I'll try to hang out here and answer questions as I can but I'm sure you'll have more fun with Laurie getting your personal and family issues attended to while you're ordering pickups.
She's been begging me to do this.
Anybody anywhere heard anything from Fred lately?
What was the date on Fred's post you quoted? I thought he had been MIA for years now?

I finally get to join the club.
