Do you have a close up of that fingerboard? 
My R&B/Prince/electronic-inspired group just released our first single, and I did all the bass tracking on my BN6. Wanted to share it with y'all!
Track 1 has a lot of synth bass (with electric on the solo outro), and track 2 is strictly electric bass:

34.5" scale (love what it does to the B string)
41 mm nut (easier to reach that B string)
18 mm string spacing
Slim neck profile
5 piece Birdseye maple/bubinga neck
The finish is brown burst NPF
Noiseless pickups that I believe are standard nowadays.
Weight is about 9.5 lbs
I'll make a demo video when I get a chance

Here is a very interesting youtube if you are a Jaco fan.
It is a live performance, and they isolated the bass so you can hear it startlingly well.
I'm sure the halo affect is in play here, but I just can't stop listening to this. This guy changed music and liberated the bass in bands.

That's the one they had left of a batch of aged neck blanks. Although the stringer wood has some impact on the sound, I doubt there is any perceptible difference between wenge or bubinga and even ebony (which my upcoming BNF5 will have).
Cool! Thanks! Is there a difference between aged or non aged? Or all their 5 pc necks are aged?
I was just lucky that there was an older neck blank available. Theoretically an older neck will be more stable and I travel quite a bit with my bass, but due to the high quality of F Basses I don't think it's something to be concerned about.
