Wow that's gorgeous, love that color. Is that light charcoal frost (Scott Devine color)? I have it and absolutely love it! Love the old bay pillow too!
This one is the "vintage" charcoal frost, which is a bit darker than the Scott Devine color.
(From Andi, when I was deciding- "Light Charcoal Frost was a "happy accident'' (too much Inca Silver in the Charcoal Frost lacquer blend) that first began with the P-Classic IV ordered by Scott Devine, and the rest is history...being a very popular customer request.")

PIV ain’t too shabby either.
That's very, very nice! The ebony fretboard has gorgeous figuring, you don't see that everyday in Ebony (wether intentional or not). I have a P IV in Light Charcoal Frost on order, can't wait till it arrives!

Got a friend trying to find a used P bass. Anyone have any leads and anyone know what they cost these days...
I believe the standard for P IV’s is 43mm, so about 1.7”.

Inflation hitting the used Moollon market this week...
Latest I saw was 4k with “make an offer” on Reverb for a Jazz. 4.5 for a Precision with the same open offer.
A big part of the problem is that it’s the same guy in NY flipping most of them. Posted 3 of them over the last week in the TB classifieds all at inflated prices as usual. Even more inflated now that YJ finally raised prices a bit.
This guy is a known Moollon flipper and has been for a while, if you search for his threads in TB classifieds there are something like ~17-18 different Moollon listings. I understand the free market and everything… but I also think this guy is a disease to the Moollon community.
Every time you have someone doing something cool—like YJ pouring his passion into building these, and keeping prices reasonable so that they can get into the hands of musicians—you have someone like this guy on the other side of the spectrum trying to take advantage of it for their own personal gain. I think it’s pretty scummy but what can you do.
Not a fan either. I’d be willing to bet that these sellers are making more money on the instruments than YJ is.
Ultimately, people are paying these prices as the basses are highly covered. Money talks..
All you have to do is put your Moollon’s in at a lower price point. I will do just that soon. My hope is that he is is able to get a buyer and continue catering to those who don’t mind paying for what they want. Good luck with all your sales. It is a tough market at the moment. We have an awesome community. Let’s not start acting like singers and guitar players.
