I will say this tho... on the ones they have the angled logo on, it does look like they moved the retainer back a little bit, and in that location, it would conflict with the "S". Not sure how big of a deal that location shift is.

They could have also keep it parallel to the strings, past the new string retainer and just under the G string. I think it could fit in there.

Anyway, nothing really important.

I like the straight better but I definitely think it would be too crowded-looking that way with the new retainer.

Also, I like the new decal.

Different strokes for different folks. I like it better on the other position, though this won't be a deal breaker next time I order a new bass.

This. "If it ain't broke....." A sig is tradition IMO. Wonder if it could be adjusted to work with the new retainer & still remain at original horizontal position.

I've designed too many logos over the years to count, but one of the first rules is - don't crowd the logo. So moving the decal due to the functional location requirements of the string retainer makes absolute sense from a design standpoint.
