That is just sick!!!!!! What a killer looking piece. Very unique!

Wow, that's a cool finish - the lefty purple people eater!

Yes, I love it! Purple Power! Congrats on a super build

Thanks guys! I realize it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I like it quite much! That said, I also enjoy regular or 'coffee table' finishes, which I own as well. I think I'd have to take a group photo of my Sadowsky basses one time soon...

WOW, pretty! What does the switch do?

It turns on or off the L.E.D.s. On the back of the control plate, there's a little hole (à la Will Lee) for easy access to a trim pot that controls the brightness of the L.E.D.s.

That is definitely MY cup of tea. Post lots of pics when you get it!

Cool, LEDs, does it have shag carpeting and a disco ball as well? Talk about a Bass that's ready to party!

Well, I'm afraid not. However, I have one of these lying around here. Maybe I could attach it to my Sadowsky strap in some kind of way.

I've got something on the drawing table that would be even more your cup of tea :ninja:. My wallet will have to recover first from this one, though ;).

Can the preamps on Metros be wired Volume/Volume instead of Volume/Blend?

They can, but you would have to have that done after you receive the instrument. One of the things that keeps the cost lower on the MetroLine is that there is no custom ordering, other than model and finish.

Anyone know what happened to the Sadowsky Forum?
It's not working. :hmm:

Never mind! It's going away.

I updated the software on the Forum page last week and we lost the entire thing.....there has not been that much activity on it so I am letting the forum go.....in many ways, I consider the Talkbass Club Sadowsky to be the real Sadowsky Forum.

Hope everyone is OK with that!

No offense to the time spent on the Sadowsky forum, but I like the idea of just having one forum to deal with, and right now, Talkbass is the only forum I really have any time for, so I'm fine with it. :)

I am the proud owner of #4162, a USA Vintage 5.

I am curious why there are not that many fretless Sadowsky's out there? I am considering ordering one, but am a bit confused why they do not seem to be that popular. Anyone own one who can give a review?
