Club Sadowsky!!!

On the order page it actually defaults to the cheaper of the two options ($27.65 vs 30.75). The question in my email was whether there was any mistake in the shipping cost but I guess there isn't. Yikes. :help:

I'm confused. I thought you posted that the shipping quote was $60. Contact Jean at Long and McQuade in Vancouver. If he doesn't stock the strings, tell him he needs to!

Sorry if I wasn't clear - the total cost was just under $60. As soon as shipping costs come out to $60 for a set of strings I'll just drive down to NYC and pick them up personally! :D

I recommend our Everyday Polish.

NOT IF YOU WANNA' KEEP YOUR JOB AS GUITAR TECH YOU DON'T! ;) :D

(check the vid link I posted if you haven't already... just for about 10 seconds or so... my link cues it up to the exact spot... it's kinda' funny... and after having met Mike, I can see him feeling that way). :)

I love the preamp in my Sadowsky so much.

Have any of you ever put a Sadowsky preamp in a Lakland 55-02? I really don't like the LH-3.

No, but I put a Sadowsky pre in my Lull and the difference was night and day (the Lull had been equipped with an Aguilar OB-3). "Lull" is no longer a fitting description for the sound of that bass...

That's nothing......when I return to this house gig after Labor Day, I'll shoot a pic of the guitar players late 80's strat.
From about 10 feet away, you would swear it was a rosewood fingerboard.
That is his main guitar that get 99% of the playing.
The fingerboard is just darkened from the oil and dirt and tons of Fast Fret!
