Right, when and if that happens. Agreed. And, I presume that was @ElMon ’s point.
Still, that will also mean that folks like Nino Valenti and Pat Wilkins won’t have access anymore. Which, I get it and that’s Roger’s call for sure. I just think it is unfortunate in the greater scheme of things. Signature and fantastic preamp.
Anyhow, the one constant in life is change. I just recall the last time there was a big gap in the availability of the onboard preamps. Caused me to sell an instrument that I would have otherwise definitely kept. That one still leaves a bad taste in my mouth. But, as I said, can’t live life in the rear view mirror.
I should also mention that I've thrown Roger's game-changing preamp in MTD's/Warwicks/Fenders/Modulus/etc with reckless abandon. Definitely get what you're saying.
