There really isn't anything like a P or J neck when it comes to 5 string basses. We offer our 5 string necks in 2 nut widths 1-7/8" (our standard) and the narrower 1-3/4". Neck thicknesses and general shapes are the same on both. So, in that sense, the Metro PJ-5 will not be a "Hybrid". It will just be the Metro PJ5!.

Yeah Vic, maybe I may be imagining it, but the ADPV seemed to have a thicker neck, which felt better to me. Maybe I'm confusing it with some of the P's I've played vs. my J. As much as I like that bass, I thicker neck is something I wish it had. :)
