I'm not quite understanding this one, but, hey, if it makes it happen then I'm in!!

The larger the instrument the more difficult it is to get around a city, buses, subways, elevators, etc. Even with a gig bag worn like a back pack a bass is long enough so the headstock is above the wearers head and easy to bump into doorways. A headless bass is shorter and therefore easier to navigate one's way around.

Yeah, and the lighter weight. Just much easier to get around with. Just imagine carrying a guitar on your back as oppose to a bass. That's the difference. Not every gig in the City is directly off the subway.

Makes perfectly good sense to me now! So, a headless option is going to be available for the TR line?

So, which guitar gig bag is suitable for the headless TR bass?

I did find that Mono has an acoustic guitar gig bag that will accept the bass body.
My Levy's guitar gig bag won't.

I'm happy to announce that I have a gig next month and attended a rehearsal last night with a few other musicians!! It was so good to get out and play with other musicians!

For the rehearsal, I took my Genzler 350 Combo and my CP Thornton jazz 5'er with Curt Mangan NickelWound strings (photo left). A great combination!!

Just picked this up from the low-end bass shop. Brian is an awesome guy to deal with. I called Chuck to ask him about the bass, what a wonderful man super helpful and took the time to talk and let me know all the functions and a brief history. Hope to go up and meet him someday. Serial number is 0190291 can I get a number?

I didn't start out giving member numbers because the bass serial numbers were so low, but not anymore.

I'll have to go back and issue numbers, now!

Hi Guys, Wanted to give you an update. I did some design work for a headless TR-4 & 5 but in the process found something that felt and looked odd to me. The TR series bass has a raised area for the bridge and with the size of the Hipshot bridge with the tuners on it to accommodate the headless setup it looked large and bulky so for now I'm holding off on the design of the headless. But here are a few basses I just finished this week.
