CWB 12 - The Dirty Dozen

hey, calm down Tat. The internet can be your friend, but sometimes not. You know from CWB that you have a bunch of boyfriends who think you're hot. Don't overreact to random internet posts. Just my .02. :bassist:

I'm eternally grateful to all my CWB boyfriends and internet stalkers. It may not come across as being humored, but these hits were quite funny. They were of the "all I really want is your money and a visa" variety.

I feel old. I can't imagine what trying to date/find someone must be like today. Things are SO different now.

I upgraded to iTunes Match service yesterday. I now have access to all 4,300+ songs in my various libraries from all my computers, phones, etc. Awesome.

Today, iTunes is comp upgrading all the music in my library that was imported at lower quality or purchased with DRM built in to 256kb AAC with no DRM. Close to 3,000 new versions of songs are presently downloading to my main computer. It's pretty awesome!

That sounded like a neat idea so I gave it a try. Everything seemed to be going great...

UNTIL...

I found out that it doesn't support some of the playlists I use almost every day. Just refuses to run them. So I had to turn Match off for my phone, and tunes are back uploading the old way while I hope Apple figures this out. Bummer.

"I don't like most guys, but...I'm also not interested in most guys. That's what makes the few that I do connect with special. I'm smart, opinionated, well-traveled and sophisticated, while still family-oriented at heart. I have a deep appreciation for good dirty jokes and have a few of my own to tell. Bring on the sarcasm and wit for they add spice to life.

You should be a gentleman who says what he means and means what he says. Honesty goes a long way with me. Maturity, emotional and mental security are a must. Musicians welcome and encouraged.

"I'm not a supermodel, and I don't expect you to be. That said, life is for living, and I would like to meet someone who likes to live it. I like live sporting events, concerts, unplanned road trips, and spending time with people I care about. Maybe you could be one of those people...

Drop me a line and let's chat."

That is a very good profile Tat. Meeting people online has it's own challenges, but it can have great rewards. I met Jackie online as you know and I'm a big believer.

Since it casts a much larger net than traditional dating, you will come across more turkeys. It also gives you a larger chance of finding a prince. You just have to filter more turkeys out, and that can be amusing if you let it be.

Have fun with it.

On other news, Jackie's uncle took another bad turn and she is headed back to Chicago again today.

Thanks, Mike. I'm going to try.

So sorry to hear about Jackie's uncle. How's your lovely lady holding up? Is she doing okay? And you? Doing alright holding down the fort?

Sorry to hear about Jackie's uncle Mike. Thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I've always found music, either playing or listening has helped me get to give the mind a break from the difficulties going on. It's good you have your music, supportive wife & the CWB community you can talk to.

I'm about ready for bed. Went to Buffalo yesterday for the Sabres/Bruins game. Sadly it was not a great game but I still enjoyed seeing NHL hockey live. The missus drove home (2 hours and a bit) and I did sleep in the car for a while but we did not get home until 2 AM. I was up in the morning because my band was due around 10. We rehearsed a few hours. Right now I feel like I've had the crap kicked out of me. Tomorrow my daughter has the 8 AM hockey practice. Gotta shut it down.
