CWB 14: Whiskey and Beer

Man you guys just gave back some great karma. Thanks a ton.
I'm going to crash too.

Excuse the lousy playing, this one is all about the fun:

Sophia and Lucy spinning - YouTube

Sophia is going to be my drummer and my older one Katie is my Pianist. I tried to make the bass look like fun, but they find their own path and I'm just glad to support them however I can.

Holy Mother of Adorableness.

My two little ones each have a set of bongos, among other various instruments. They sit on the living room floor and beat those things like they each have six arms and have been mainlining coffee. They can actually drown out our guitar and bass. Their volume without amplification is impressive. Sometimes, just for the sheer joy of sweet torture, one will hold a recorder in their mouth and blow into it open while still banging on the bongos. Then the Death Wish Dog hears us start his song and comes out of his sleep spot on my bed to do his backing vocal duties. Sometimes the other three join in too, but he never misses his song. :p

Lasy night a bassist buddy sat in all night with Feral making us a trio instead of a duo. We had a lot of fun with it. Mike was playing a Spector through an Orange Tiny Terror, sounded great.

Looks like a lot of fun!

I broke out my Spector last night too, along with the 'Wick. I dunno, Dave. I'm going to give the strings you suggested a go, but it doesn't really stand too well next to the Spector. :hmm:

We sold the middle guys Thomas the train bed today to make room in the boys room for the train table that currently resides in my living room. The drum kit may be replacing the train table in the LR....or maybe not....:p

My slapping sounds, well..like garbage. I don't have much call for it, but can appreciate anyone that can.

I spent the majority of my morning unsuccessfully trying to replace the timing belt on my wife's car. The crankshaft pulley bolt is uber tight, and my poor little air compressor couldn't keep up. I'm going to have to take it to work ..blah.

put some butter on it :D

I have no problem with you preferring the sound and feel of the Spector. Those are very subjective things and if that's the one you prefer to to play then I'm OK with that. Seriously. :)

But I'll be d@mned if I'm going to let you get rid of the Warwick and deny me occasional Chick with 'Wick pics!!!!!!!

:D

;)

:p

I've been out of the loop. A few days out of town that culminated in the wife and I both coming down with stomach flu, blech! We had a 3 hour drive home this morning when neither of us was feeling our bet. And I also new that the band was arriving within half an hour of us for a long rehearsal. I got through it but did not do any of my singing parts.

MB that video was adorable!

Mamasan, sounded good too.

I can't remember what else I was going to comment on but I am going to get some needed rest now.

I told ya, Dave - if she decides to get rid of it, I'll take it off her hands. No reason to panic.

Ok, I'm seeing a compromise here. I'll just take a ton of pics with the Wick and ration them to you slowly. How's that?

Yeah, I can accept that. :)

... 'specially given Tat's arrangement. A double dose of CWB with 'Wick is doubly good! :hyper:

Now to talk PA into getting a 'Wick so I can hit the CWB with 'Wick trifecta!!! Might need to keep a defibrillator nearby just in case that actually happens. ;)
