Is this really something people are complaining about? Mmmmyeas I prefer my pedals to be off on start up mmyes. I shall not be bothered by minor, vexatious details.
My Curmudgeon Dist2 showed up today, and I'm quite liking it.

I think half of the MBD2s I see are set to within 10% of yours. It's perfect for me, anyway.
I have it set that way for a bit of transparent hair. The idea of this little board is for it to be a modular rig-simulator (compressor>pre-amp>tone stack>power amp>cab sim), where I can stomp particular bits in and out as desired.
I've noticed that too. Works perfectly for me.. but it's nice to crank that Gain up, sometimes
We played the Bowery Electric in NYC last night. MBD2 was of course part of my core sound.
Well I've been waiting an absolute age for a decently priced used MBD-2 to show up on this price of the pond and one finally did last week...I jumped on it! Looking forward to joining the club!

Congratulations! These are my preferred settings for some relatively light dirt. The Shift switch I usually have up when playing with the band and down when playing at home.

I'm unfortunately having to let go of a few pieces of gear... mainly pedals, plus a couple of other things to help fund recent doctors bills... I jacked up my knee while delivering at work..
So, one of the items is my much loved MBD2..

I have a MBD-2 coming on Monday and I am so excited. I have been wanting one of these since they were released. What are y'all stacking with your MBD? I have a DOD Bi-Fet boost reissue that I am going to be using in conjunction with it running into my Ampeg V4B reissue and 1977 8x10 cab.
That's probably all you'll need. Solid setup.
