Damnation Audio Fan/Appreciation Thread

Not sure this helps @father of fires but to me the curmudgeon is like tool’s sound if you took out the clean channel (or maybe just Adam Jones tone?) thick yet grainy punished amp sound…
If that’s a help for a market? It’s almost like the perfect rat distortion of you DONT want a silicon rat can that be used as a marketing slogan? Haha

( in my head maybe it’s the “aenima” song tone? When you say djent all I think of is Dingwall and B3k cos that’s what EVERY damn band I like seems to have in their rig which is good but boring if you want to be different!)

Put it back on. Gonna do some more fiddling because the Rat is starting to annoy me. Bipolar about distortions.

I would laugh, but man what a bummer! And yes, thank you. I am back. Or rather, it’s actually me posting again. Scumbags.

We knew it wasn't you. We asked what their favorite fuzz was and they blew us off...we knew you would've given a well thought out post w at least 4 favorites :)

This is one raw a$$ board man! Really dig it. Kudos to you on a very well job done \m/

hey what’s that elca preamp based on? I kinda like some of their stuff. Interesting circuit choices sometimes for such cheap pedals.
Thanks, appreciate the complement.
As far as the Eleca pre, i'm not sure what it's based on. I will say that's it's the best $40 I've spent on a preamp pedal and I've been through a few.

Sweet! Agreed on the looks. I shall add it to my list.

If you do grab one, remember, you gotta play with it a little. This one reminded me of the MBD controls wise when I first got it. I wasn’t impressed at first plug in. But then I kept messing with knobs and spending a little more time with it, and I ended up realizing it’s a great dirt box for bass. May not for everyone. It can get very squishy at some settings. But again, for me, those aren’t the sounds I generally go for with fuzzes. But it still sounds huge the way I set it. So far.

Squishy is what I'm looking for in my next fuzz!
I've got smooth with my Sovtek muff and noisy with my Eau Claire Thunder.
