Got an update on my Parallel Drive build today. Should be done on the coming days!!!

Had to get another bloop for my new small board I put together. Makes this MXR Distortion+ sound amazing.

It's not perfect for everyone, but it does appear to do some rather magical things. I'll play a riff for someone straight up and they say they like my tone. Then, I kick on the MBD-1, play the same riff, and every time a huge smile cracks their face and they say they love my tone!Just ordered a MDB-1.

Agreed, I have used mine in so many different ways too. Originally I bought mine to replace my B3K as a full bore distortion. Then I experimented with it as a boost for the Parallel Drive (those 2 pedals together slay). Now due to all my true hatred for pedal switching I use it as an always on light-med overdrive. I have experimented with it as a fuzz at home too which it kills at.It's not perfect for everyone, but it does appear to do some rather magical things. I think the biggest thing that is addicting about it is the booty that I can get from no other pedal other than maybe a big muff.

Yeah I saw that one dude do his that way. Thought it looked pretty sweet. I have a bunch of knobs at home so I’ll be throwing a couple on the empty pot shafts. Or I may just order a couple more smaller Davies oxbloods.

Someone jumped on it for ~$200 or so here. $300 plus shipping is not so reasonable.
It’s a JohnK build. His always run higher. Def nice work. He’s just a smaller builder so he’s always priced higher. Normally. But he does do very nice work imo.
