Dingwall Owners Club

Specs please :)

I'll help as I'm here a lot more than he is (taken from another forum where he has it for sale):

- Ducati Pearl white
- Bubinga body
- Wenge neck and FB with the Dingwall fan inlay layout.
- Glockenklang 3 - band, with the three series switches.
- With Ptone pickup in the neck
- Drop tuner on the B

He'll jump back in here to confirm the validity of this, I'm sure.

Shout out to Nordstrand - I ordered a set of Big Singles for my Combustion last Thursday afternoon and I just got an email that they are ready to be shipped out.

Excellent built-to-order pickups ready in 3 business days?!? What madness is this?

Nice! I'm sending my Super P5 in to Nordstrand this week to have them add a Big Split in the bridge position and a 3 band pre. I was very tempted to have them refinish it, too..but that seemed excessive.

I know, I know. I felt like I had to reign it in a little. Been putting a lot of resources into my studio lately too! If I did it, I’d go with a greenish color. Almost like the color the new Fender Elites come in.
I too had to decide between ultimate bassness and studio gear. I had sold my nice RME recording interface in order to fund bass gear and just now ordered a much less expensive but hopefully nice interface. It is all @BuffaloBob4343 's fault that I did this (jk).

Yep, it’s all about “fund allocation”! I’ve no doubt though my bass will sound awesome whether it’s natural or green!

All my active Dingwalls have had 18 volt pre amps, both Aguilar and Glockenlang.

Both were excellent. I felt like the Glockenlang was more clean, transparent and hi if. I’d just set if for a bit of bass boost and roll off treble, if I used it at all.

The Aguilar seemed to be more aggressive and easier to over do.

On both Supers, I ran them passive 95% of the time.

I really like the simple, passive and super light Super P4 I recently acquired.

Well, everyone. I did a thing today. Didn't do all of the thing necessary to bring it home (did most of the thing on the way out the door on a road trip, and didn't want it sitting in the hot car etc.)

The thing was putting the holding deposit on this:

2009 Prima Artist, serial 4591. It's in damn good shape - I was only able to find one very tiny scuff on the entire bass, and I'm almost certain it'll buff right out. I should be picking it up Saturday the 26th.
