Yeah the levy’s one is what I went with for my Combustion, Its called something like cm19 and is pretty close to the dingwall bag but a little cheaper.

I still have my original Dingwall branded CM19. The zipper finally busted and you can barely read the Domgwall logo, but after 25 years I’m not complaining. I’m sad to report that I got a Levys double bag a few years back and it started ripping at the lower seem pretty quickly, now I am complaining.

Mo does amazing work. He did this one which has a 4 way that is different than the current NG3 so I have my bridge/neck in parallel which I love.

Now you got me thinking... a Canadian bridge. Nice. Notice any difference or did it come that way?

The second owner (I was the first and third) didn’t care for the new individual bridges because he’s a punk rocker and it was ripping his hands up with the squared off edges picking like a mad man so he did the swap for utility purposes. To be honest, I didn’t notice much of a tone difference at all.

I've been more considering it to switch to black hardware for the Combustions that have chrome hardware.

Hey guys I’m looking to buy dingwall nickel 5 strings string sets online but the site I was ordering them from doesn’t have any in stock. Dingwall i guess is an option but shipping is $25 dollars. Any one know of a better deal?

For my NG. Im more so looking for a regular supply. I typically order 2-3 sets at a time. But now the site I was ordering from are out and like I mentioned the shipping cost getting them directly from Dingwall is pretty high imo.

Damn thanks for reminding me. I bought the bass from them so I should have checked there I suppose. They had them in stock, got two sets on the way.

There was an older SJ I saw surface not that long ago that was actually chambered with the F holes. I know they don’t vary from spec much or often but this wouldn’t be asking much I don’t think. Who am I to say but this request sounds like an easy one.

Also, my experience is that once you figure in the exchange rate, and if you're buying more than just a couple sets (I usually buy 7-10), Sheldon's pricing is commensurate with US...and I like giving the shop my $$$.

Yes one of the main reasons for my decision to modify. Gotta have the bridge/neck option, aka Jazz bass setting.

There seem to be a lot of NG3s rolling out recently, just wondering if there have been any whispers of when the D-bird standards might start to appear?

I suspect Jan-March 2019 but have no real info as to my knowledge they have not yet entered in production.
