I believe it! It nails the P vibe and sounds absolutely massive. I had one in the ABZ I used to own and it sounded phenomenal.

I opened up the control cavity to have a peek under the hood.
As expected, super neat and clean. And it looks like the neck pup is either already wired in series, or it might be a P tone. I haven't pulled the pickup to see what's on the back yet. Scorecard from Dingwall says FD3, but now I'll have to take a look.
When I plugged it in yesterday and solo'd the neck, I thought, "Damn, that's very P like! Cool!"
Four very usable voices on this one. Even the bridge in parallel is cool, just needs volume boost.
Plugged the Super P in, and they are very close. The Afterburner is even brighter and has more snarl, but the strings are less than 24 hours old.
Did I mention I was thrilled?

I can’t say enough good things about Mo and Mo’s Shop. His care and communication have been exemplary. He’s also had a serious eye for detail and attended to each thing is a fully thoughtful and thorough way. Similar to Sheldon he’s really scrutinized the details and engineered graceful solutions with initiative. Today he found that the preamp diagrams from Graphtech were faulty and redesigned a portion of the wiring. He’d already designed a customized portion of the switching system.
He’s been back to work on the ABM bridge, shaving down the g string saddle as it was bottomed out and is ordering in the special ABM bottom plates that Sheldon used on some Combustion models. There is nothing that’s half done in this job.

the electronics layout remains the same with only a single additional switch:
The new switch is a 3 way for magnetic pickups, blend of both magnetic and piezo and piezo only.
Where the old switch was, is a true passive bypass, meaning no battery drain, no preamp at all just pickups straight to jack.
The old DG-TC active/passive switch has moved to a push pull on the volume. There's been some moving around on the tone controls. The stack is low-mid/treble, with high-mid having its own knob. The very last knob is now a volume for the piezo system...think of it acting sort of like a jazz bass when you have both systems on...you can blend up or down the individual volumes magnetic/piezo. The piezo volume has a push/pul that's a tone profile shift.
Honestly, the normal casual Dingwall civilian wouldn't probably even notice the amount of customization here. You can also see the business card shim I used from the first round of fretlessing. Mo's got way more going on in terms of the bridge neck and action though so remedial stuff like that won't probably be needed.
Not too much room in here though!
