This Warrior (just sold on Reverb) was my first time ever seeing a rosewood top and fingerboard together.

Yep, I briefly had a B-1005 SE-MS sent it back as the display sticker darkened the area underneath, It was sweet though, Rose FB and top/swamp body, wenge/bubinga neck.

Still looking for one, but have it's mono-scale cousin with a Bubinga top.

Back to my Q- is anyone's string tree wobbly? mine was since new, just worried about snapping or pulling out.

The fretless models are all currently ebony. There’s been a few spec’d that way I’m quite certain.
I think @johnsonabq s Z is Ebony FB Iirc

It’s such a great FB option. The thing is I think a lot of people don’t want to pay the upgrade to ebony or Zirocote and everyone is stuck on wenge for dark board options.

Hey, Is anyone else's string tree bent in the middle and slightly loose in the wood if you gently rock it? I noticed it right away when I got the bass and was very apparent when I re-strung It hasn't affected anything, but it's a little concerning- I would not want to snap a screw off!

All the threads are in the wood, but with no tension on it, it's fairly loose in the hole.

My Combustion's string tree is the same - very (hard to see) slight bend in the middle, and when not under string tension (my neck is currently off the bass and mods are being done on the body) the two screws rock slightly - when strung up ZERO issues so I wouldn't worry about it.

This is the only one that currently exists: I’m touring with it for the next month as Dingwall is legally barred from sharing any photos of me playing my DBird custom due to that asinine Gibson lawsuit.

Fortunately, the D-Roc is actually a cut above the DBird

I’ll definitely be taking delivery of a few standards once they start shipping in October, and I’ll be doing my damndest to get this gold one back once it has made it’s rounds.
