Dingwall Owners Club

This is the only one that currently exists: I’m touring with it for the next month as Dingwall is legally barred from sharing any photos of me playing my DBird custom due to that asinine Gibson lawsuit.

Personally I really like my DBird. I play it more than my Z. And, it has now become a rare bird too. (mic drop) ;)

More like a cut below, am I right?

I'll see myself out... :D
:roflmao:

I like the shape of the D-Roc well enough, but the D-Bird headstock design was really something special in my opinion.
I think the D-Roc custom will still have the edge colored like the D-Bird, right?

We'll see how I feel once D-Roc standards are out and about in the classifieds, but as of right now I'd be interested in swapping my NG-2 fiver for a D-Roc four.

Yup, I use mine for my avatar. I think it looks quite cool.

What finishes are available for the D-Roc Customs. X-Tops? Asking for a friend. ;)

Matte white would be slick.
And I know the feeling, I have a lot stuff I need to pay off and need to find a home to buy soon.

I'm almost 30, I'm tired of renting.
Heard that, lol! I've capped my Dingwall buying by putting a few goals in front of myself as preconditions to ordering a legitimate custom Dingwall. Finding a lady, getting married, buying a home, and playing a gig at my favorite local venue are all on the list - and it'll be quite a while before I've crossed all that off!

Question to those who play fingerstyle on a Dingwall with 3-pickup config: How/where do you position your right hand? Most of my basses have two pickups, and I pluck the strings right between them, my thumb resting on the neck pickup. Does your right hand float and play between the neck pickup and the neck? Or do you actually pluck the stings right above the pickups? How comfortable is it?

(Left hand for lefties of course! ;) )
