Bloodmoon burst is such a favorite of mine, but, I don't want to copy cat it :). It's a unique piece and definitely deserves to stay as such to the person that came up with that.

I'm leaning in the dark red / pink-ish burst (or reverse?) direction for now. Thankfully even if I jump in queue, I believe I have several months to sort that particular idea out. The bigger one is the electronics magic I'm attempting to cook up (will talk more about this later if it becomes real).

I’ve always wanted to do a blood to carbon burst.... or reverse.
There’s another combo I’d love to do as well but I gotta keep it a secret for now in case I ever get another opportunity.

I like green and purple together as you’ll soon see! maybe even this week.

Green and purple is nice.
It is a naturally occurring combo in nature afterall. green and purple.jpg

Wow, this is a first. Please take it to a qualified luthier/tech and have him contact our tech for support. It should be an easy fix but we'd like him to do some troubleshooting so we can get to the root cause. We'll cover this under warranty.

Hi Sheldon, and thanks for the suggestion.
I did it but it nothing changed unfortunately.
Gave a second 1/8 turn and still no effect - except that now the action is also starting to be just a tad too high for my taste.

Any advice on what to do next ?
Keeping in mind that it's difficult to find a qualified tech in the area, so if it's something I can do/test myself it's infinitely better :)

So if I understand it correctly, the Bridge and Neck mode on my 3X Dingwall is in parallel to each other, yes? Is it possible to rewire that mode to be in series with each other instead?

Position 3, that is. That series mode is the one I'd like to have, which has me considering getting a two pickup model...

Not with the stock switch (other than swapping neck and middle leads as groovaholic said). The switches aren't customizable like that. Now if you could track down a plain-old 4-position rotary, you could wire up whatever you wanted.

If I were going to put in a custom switch, I would definitely go with 6 positions instead of 4.

I'm not sure if I've read all of the posts on this but in our setup series, there's a test to check your nut height. Fret at the 2nd fret and compare the gap over the 1st fret to the gap over the 2nd fret when simultaineously fretting the 1st and 3rd frets. The gap over the 1st fret should be slightly more than the gap over the 2nd. If the gap over the 1st fret is less than the 2nd, the nut slot is too low. Get me that data and I will advise on what to do next.

I actually meant to physically swap the pickups - certainly to test the idea for viability.

Stew-Mac has a 6-position, 2-pole rotary switch that could probably give you all the options you have now, plus a few...
