It is already sold, I think it was musikloftWhere's the blue one for sale?
Hey all. Anyone have any experience of using ti flats on a 34-37" Dingwall?
Thinking of trying some on my ABI. Really love them on 34" basses, but curious how they are with multiscale.
Cheers!
thanks for sharing
I’ve had a couple of first gens with FANTASTIC necks on them.
is that price in CAN$$?
if those are really SF2 is square bodies I’d say that is highly unique and rare as hell considering the SF2 came out when they standardized the larger rounded shells. There may have been a brief overlap considering the ABZ also transitioned at that time from square EMG style to the rounds.
Also the new gig bag is a bonus. If it’s can it’s a good price fo sho.
Awesome!! Congrats. It’s a very unique combustion then. I’ve seen a few unique basses come from employees of the shop. It's priced in CAN$$ with shipping to ON included. The PUs are real custom SF2 with a thinner than current production neck (feels more similar to a custom at that time, quoted the seller who was an ex employee). Mine now...cant wait to join the club in a couple of days![]()

Would you mind letting me know which ones are long scale? D & G only would be my guess, but…I have TI flats on my NG-2 5 string. They are my favorite strings (have them on three other basses as well), so it’s not surprising that I love them on the NG. I ordered mine from Fret Nation so they are a mix of long and extra long scale sets.
All I’m going to say, at this point, is that I’m going to request JFB ships my Z3 via FedEx. Do I think they’re substantially different or more reliable than UPS? No. But permit me this one irrational reaction.
You know what is putting the sour cherry on top of this whole situation today? I had two small packages coming this week. Wednesday and Thursday arrivals. Then one was ahead of schedule, and bumped up and I got it yesterday…but BOTH arrived at the local hub before 5 am yesterday. One was delivered yesterday. The other…is still “on the way.”Nothing irrational about it. I had one really bad experience with UPS a long time ago and avoided them for years. And my situation wasn’t nearly as bad as yours.

They’re just small things, but after the last couple weeks I’ve had with UPS, I could be looking at another lost package.

I know it’s the last link in a chain that could go wrong at any point, but I am at least in good terms with the FedEx driver who delivers to my neighborhood. Heck, there was even a time when I was heading out of my development as he was coming in. I was getting a delivery that day, and I stopped so I could turn around and go home to receive it…I didn’t even have to, he ALSO stopped, because he recognized me, and just handed me my package, on the spot.Permitted. I felt the same way when the UPS driver walked up my 88-key keyboard end over end up the lawn. Opened it up and it was literally in pieces. Grrrr.
