My ab1 is up for grabs in classifieds, I am open to offers if anyone is interested.

Spotted one of the NAMM basses that Dingwall is taking to the show on Instagram earlier today and did a double-take thinking it was a photo of my Super J. Very very similar. Mine has a birdseye maple fretboard and a maple neck whereas the NAMM one was a wenge neck and fretboard (I think). The NAMM bass is listed as a cream white whereas mine is a pearl white. The colors appear to be quite similar despite the naming difference. I wonder how different they would be in-person. Regardless of aesthetic differences I'm guessing, based on my experience with my own very similar bass, that anyone trying that one at NAMM will be in for a treat!

Didn't see that one on IG earlier (damn algorithm), but I wouldn't be surprised if it's a roasted ash neck. Seems to be a big thing they're debuting this year. I'd love to check NAMM out this year, but I've got important travel coming up later this month and don't wanna risk catching Covid and ruining those plans.

Digging into it further: Roasted ash neck and pau ferro board.

Yeah. I know what kinds of colors I’d want, but my wallet hopes for colors that aren’t as appealing to me. At least in the near term.

I wonder if it’ll be an all-new color, or if it will be the return of a color that used to be available. We’re any of the past colors (orange, hot pink, purple, etc) specified as limited, while they were a thing? I know my Ferrari Green NG3 was always touted as being only a limited number, but I don’t know if those others were the same.

I'm with you on "pick a color I hate so I can save my money for now". I don't ever remember the candy tangerine being stated it was limited, but all of a sudden you couldn't get it anymore.

Part of me really hopes for a return of the Lambo Orange, or a comparable orange, because I’ve never seen one of the orange NGs in a six-string. Then I can replace the pickguard with a parchment or cream colored one, and it can be my Creamsicle of Groove.

I need to get more sleep, clearly, if I just typed that out.

It's ok, I was thinking you should paint a white stripe down the side instead of the guard and it can be the Dreamsicle of Groove. :roflmao:

Ok kinds DW related... he has at least 2. But *** IS THIS ONE?!?!?! Curved MS?

I think it is just a really wide angle lens. Couldn't finish that video. It did nothing for me. I have no desire to play like that. I'd rather be able to improvise well and/or quickly figure out what key someone is playing in.

Didnt watch, but I do know that curved multi scale is a thing. I forget what it’s called and the benefits, I think it allows you to have more extreme fan or something.
