Dingwall Owners Club

I had originally ordered mine with black hardware, but changed back to chrome about 2 months from completion. Just decided that with the vintage style blocks that a more vintage hardware look was appropriate, though I'm sure the black hardware would have kicked butt as well.

The black adds more contrast against the white body, and the chrome more contrast against the dark green.

I think you both made exactly the right choices.

Just joined the club, is she welcome in these parts?

Since we're on the subject of Super P . . . . . . Introducing the first pic of my first ever custom bass.

There's a few SP4's floating around in trans white. I thought we needed a 5er to stare at :D. First clean fb SP series I've seen (there's a sj on dingwall site). Also, cant tell it has side blue lumilays :)
Better lit pics to be taken once I receive it. Top 1/2 looks kind of swirly and the bottom striped :hyper:

Bob's Super P was actually the first, but I knew it wouldn't be the last ;)
I didn't want to steal thunder from BC's beautiful instrument, so I refrained from showing mine off again for a few days.;)

But yes, here is the first Super P with black hardware and non traditional tuners. It was both Sheldon's and the unanimous opinion of the rest of the shop to go with the modern tuners, and I'm glad I did. Oh and BC, love the black PG. I think that's a killer choice for that bass!!

Can't wait to hear what you think of the tone!!

I envy all of you that have regular church gigs. It sounds like a good regular outlet to get out and play.

After a year of it, I am still shocked by how much I enjoy it. I even sweet-talked another TBer to share duties and he seems to absolutely love it as well.

Ken, I'm sound boy tomorrow but play tomorrow night at Lamplight Theatre.........with you guessed it, the Super J!
