Awesome! Looks like a hell of a lot of fun.

I missed Nothing More last winter on their tour with Periphery when they were all stuck in the snow :crying:

I'll check your band out, as well as Glass House. Really liking the sound of your 2012 record already!

Gone! Sold my Fodera to make it happen. It'll be here next week sometime, at which point I'll post a review and a few more real life shots.

Interestingly, like many people, I'd gassed after a Fodera for a long time. I'm not sure if it was the ridiculously high expectations or what, but when I finally got it, I realized I was playing my Super PJ5 more. Then I put the Dingwall away in an effort to connect with the Fodera. Even listed the Dingwall, as you know Thumper. When I picked it back up after a few weeks, I realized how much more effortless and alive my playing became. I was thinking more about the music and less about the instrument. Just a lot more comfortable and at home, and my playing most definitely reflected that.

So, on to the full-scale Dingwall frontier. Was able to pick it up and 2 fEARless cabs for what the Fodera went for (never will I spend that kind of money on a bass again. embarrased of that now.)

Don't mean to bash the Fodera, either. It is an incredible bass. But just couldn't bear keeping it around in its case to play third fiddle to my Super PJ5 and L-2500 (which is the main live bass cause it sparkles).

It was tagged at $4999CDN plus 12% tax. I believe it was a custom order that was cancelled for some reason. It has a blackburst maple neck and a painted headstock and heelface.

I've never seen a neck done like that before, VERY cool...yet another reason Sheldon and his guys are the coolest cats in town

That it definitely was, despite the technical issues we had...some sort of AC anomaly on my side of the stage so my wireless and half of our DMX light system was dead

My wife snagged some cool video footage, I'll edit a clip or two to share sometime in the next few weeks once our album is finally released...and for anyone who isn't familiar with Nothing More, check them out immediately.

One of the most creative and talented rock bands around right now, and the hardest working/nicest guys you'll ever meet to boot.

Thanks for the kind words as well, but I actually didn't have anything to do with the 2012 EP; it was originally the singer's passion project, he wrote/played everything aside from the drums, so this new release is truly the band's first album...and I think you'll like it even more ;)

I saw him and his brother with Bela Fleck. I'm pretty sure that it'll be the only time in this lifetime that I will ever see a bassist trading licks with a theramin player. It was cool.

Yeah I was really looking forward to hearing Reggie, but he didn't make the trip across the pond – just a trio tonight. LOVE theramins, BTW.

Also, I don't have any Dingwall Schwag, so I wore my FBass T-shirt :bag:

I really want the T-Shirt that says "I've got a Glockenklang in my Dingwall!", but I won't buy the shirt 'til I've got a Dingwall. Alas, the shirt will no longer be around by the time I get the scratch together to put in my order for my Dingwall (I don't want any ol' Dingetje, I want a Z3 to my taste.

*sigh*
