Dingwall Owners Club

Nice looking NG-2, would you mind sharing the spec for your new AB3X build?

Not at all:

Wenge Neck
Ash Body
Trans White Finish
P Tone Neck Pickup
Darkglass Tone Capsule
Series/Parallel Pickups Switches
Blue Luminlay Side Dots
Black Hardware
Push/Pull Volume for Active/Passive Operation
Drop A Tuner

I also just asked Sheldon about sending me an extra FD3 as well; with the new solderless rotary switch connections, it should be a lot of fun to AB it with the P Tone.

Counting the days

Red vs. Blue.

I've had the Super P5 in my possession for three weeks now, and it's already been through three gigs and numerous rehearsals. I swear it sounds better every time I pick it up. It's my first fanned fret instrument; I had only ever played one once before, and the adjustment time was negligible. For a bass that I bought not even knowing if I would like its sound (I've never been a P guy) this bass has totally exceeded my expectations. You'd think that it would subdue my GAS, but really it makes me even more excited for my AB1 order (which I just upgraded to from an ABZ!) to see what else Dingwall has to offer.

I cannot believe how awesome Dingwall basses are.
I just got this new to me Afterburner I.

Everything about this bass screams high quality. The Purple Burst finish is one of the most beautiful finishes I've seen.

• Purple Burst
• Wenge Fretboard
• FD 3 Pickups.

I'm really happy with this bass.

Don't play it - it is too gorgeous! Just kidding, enjoy it thoroughly!!!

I played this beauty at Long and McQuade in Vancouver today. It's a fantastic bass! It's really resonant and feels great to play, lots of sounds onboard. I ordered an NG-2 in black, and can't wait to get it.
This bass is just freakin sick. That is all I have to say.drooldrooldrooldrooldrooldrooldrooldrooldrooldrooldrool

It kind of makes me want to sell off all of my other ones just have this one! Which I would probably need to do! But really, would you really need another bass?

That black afterburner 3x 6 string posted above has got me hoping I get a bite on my Fodera. I very nearly sold my SPJ5 because it had been in it's case for a while and I had been playing the Fodera and G&L mostly, but then I made the fortunate mistake of playing the bass and realized I put my brain in backwards the day I listed it. Haven't been a fan of the wenge necked basses I've played to date, but haven't played a wenge Dingwall and that one has me wondering if it's worth taking a loss on the Fodera!
