Dingwall Owners Club

So I've been putting in more hours then I want to at work lately and the funny thing is,
This morning I said to my wife.
"I feel pretty good. I had a dream last night about a dingwall. It was kinda wierd. Anyways, now that I've been putting in more hours I feel like I should spend some money."
We laughed as I was kind of joking.......

Later today I stopped in at L and M "to use the rest room" as it's on my way to pretty much every where I need to go... or not..... but either way. I do that a lot.

Side note: I've told myself if I see a used combustion with a rosewood fret board I'm probably buying it. A great "less expensive" bass as per our previous discussions here.

Apparently I wasn't REALLY joking......

That's Awesome! No such thing as coincidence - It was right there when you were ready to buy! Beautiful bass - I fall more in love with my AB2 every time I play it.

Lol. Oh I wasn't ready to buy. I mean..... I guess I'm always ready to buy even when I'm not ready to buy. Hahah.

Anyways. I swear this bass called to me all day. The only minor damages I can find is a little dinging on the neck where it looks like it was rested against a cab. But..... pffft!! What eves.

Thanks Rich!!! I'm gonna cover it in stickers and duct tape!

Nice! We had one of these come through the door. I think of it as one of the "Vintage Classy" colors and it is one of my favorites.

I don't know that I've seen a solid black ABZ before. Looks really nice. I was actually just wondering if your bass was on its way. What do you think!?
After playing it for 30 seconds..I was hooked. Now that I've had some quality time with it I'm absolutely in love! I can honestly say its the nicest bass I've ever played. The tone is earth shattering too drool

Totally. There is a flow/path to follow that's very natural as I see it. We humans seem to be moving against the current most of the time but when you just go with it it can be a beautiful thing.
I teach Chinese Chi Kung. We call what you are referring to as "Dancing in the Wu Wei". Several successful musicians of some of the top groups have trained with me and said it helps their music effortless-creative flow. With the practice I have seen so many "coincidences" that were mind boggling - and of course that is the idea - take the mind out of the equation and follow the natural self.

Really? Most of the local players I know with Dingwalls have solid black ABZs, it is the most common model I have seen by far. It does indeed look great.
