Dio

What do you say to the dead
Will you forgive me for living
Can't believe the things that they said
Wonderful day for a killing
It's killing me...

What do you say to the dead
Is there a place where it's burning
It says in a book I once read
Yes there's a chance of returning
Turn to me...

After All........

Gather the wind
Though the wind won't help you fly at all
Your back's to the wall
Then chain the sun
And then it turns around and face you
As you run, you run, you run!

Behind a smile
There's danger and a promise to be told
You'll never get old
Life's fantasy
To be locked away and still to think you're free
You're free
You're free!

So live for today
Tomorrow never comes
Die young, die young
Can't you see the writing in the air?
Die young, gonna die young
Someone stopped the fair

Huge Dio Fan from when I first go into music. Saw him on the Last in Line and Sacred Heart tours and then a couple years back with Heaven and Hell (singing right along with every tune). Although I loved everything he did, Rainbow: On Stage, Heaven and Hell/Mob Rules (and Live Evil), plus Holy Diver/Last in Line did it for me. I picked up the "Heaven and Hell" album with the Sabbath tunes plus 3 new ones and I loved the new stuff.

RIP Ronnie James DIO

My condolences to all metalheads on TB. I was not into to Dio, but I can tell from the response how much he meant to you guys. You all remind of how I felt when James Brown died.

Be grateful he left so much powerful music behind. Although I was not big into metal of that era, I didn't have to hear a lot of Dio to know how the man could wail!:D

RIP
