It's way past time to change that air filter. Animal hair probably clogging it up - gonna have AC issues soon if I don't get over to the hardware store.

I try to stay on point in responding to OP's question, but if I'm OP then I tend to [LedZep]ramble on[/LedZep].

it's funny because the thread can start with a legit bass question and end up with something totally unrelated.. Look at most OP's thread then go to the last post..How the heck did we get here

I usually try to answer the original post as that's what usually attracts me to reading the post and bothering to answer. After that, I'll interact with anyone who comments or asks questions.
I voted “depends on the day” but in reality it depends on the post itself and what it makes me feel.
I learned in my English graduate program, decades ago: never let the text get in the way of your interpretation.
Perhaps this has been well-trodden territory, but I always enjoy a good poll!
How often does your response to a thread actually answer the OP's inquiry (where applicable), or do you just go off on a rant, travelling into the depths of your own bass labyrinth?
