Do you wear a watch when you play?

Yes. Always. I don't feel dressed without one, and feels strange if I leave the house without a watch on my wrist. I have a collection of inexpensive but nice looking homage automatic watches (Parnis, Alpha, Bliger etc) and which one I put on depends on what I'm wearing. But lately, we've been wearing black and red for gigs, so I'll usually opt for a black/silver metal one such as my black/white Parnis daytona, black parnis big pilot or black Invicta pro diver.
That said, I bought an apple watch series 7 family recently and that's been getting lot of love lately. I had a series 2 some years ago and missed wearing a proper watch. But I had that itch again and missed wearing the apple watch! This time round I'm not as previous about "closing rings" so my other watches still get worn,
One useful thing however, is I recently discovered bandhelper runs on the apple watch. I really ought to try this at a gig rather than having a tablet or iPhone attached to my mic stand.

I wear a watch all day, every day!! I have to know what time it is! As a family man, schedules must be kept on point! That includes music related activities.
My iPhone sits on my amp or a platform on my triple stand. Just move or tap it to light it with the time, no buttons to push. The numbers are about an inch tall and in bold font.
I can't help you with the math as a guy who uses 24 hour time.
When my last watch was stolen in the 90's, I realized that I really didn't need one. I have a pretty good idea what time it is anyway and there is a clock on my computer, in the car, on the oven and many other places that you might not notice. I have my cell phone for the exact time and unlike a previous poster, when I pull it out of my pocket, it lights up with large numbers, no buttons to push and there is no math involved. I'm not anti-watch and would wear one sometimes if I had one. Now that you've got me thinking about it, maybe it's time to get one!
I almost always have a watch on. The only time I don't is when I am sleeping, doing something that might damage the watch, or I forget to put it on for some reason. I have worn a watch since I was 10 years old and feel almost naked without it!

Yes, I forgot to mention that I remove watch and wedding band when working on electrical or rotating machinery. I watched the safety videos.
I always wear a watch. Always analog, usually automatic.
I have no issue with anyone who has eschewed wearing a wristwatch in favour of a smartphone. But I do find it ironic that the reason the wristwatch became ubiquitous (and some would say invented) was one of convenience - it was so that soldiers didn't have to pull a pocketwatch out of their pocket to find out what time it is. The smartphone is an incredible device that I don't leave home without, but as a timepiece it's not as convenient as a watch strapped to my wrist. Besides, it's only piece of jewellery I wear besides my wedding ring.
As I mentioned in my post above. The apple watch work as a remote screen for bondhelper running on an iPhone. Could be useful, but I'd have to turn my watch round to sit on the inside of my wrist.

Not for fashion never. I have a Garmin Fenix and I use an Analog watch face. Also have an old Seiko from my dad. I do not take off the Garmin. Helps me when hiking. I cycle and run -- now it's a must and helps me be on the dot with some basic stats to help monitor basic stats HR, Sp0x2 etc. Also I can leave my phone at home if I need to listen to music. I was in a development team for a wearable AKA watch for my company back in 2014 - 2015, a company acquired. I think that's when I started wearing them.
I do not like Apple Watches or any of them smart watches. If you really have to keep a tab of your hearth rhythm etc, get a Withings Scan Watch. They look fashionable too.

I’m sure it’s been said, but how do you expect me to stay in time if I don’t wear a watch?
Sorry, that's weird. A band leader banned members from wearing a watch because it made them look like busy people. Does not make sense. I can understand a band of leader banning shorts and flip flops on stage, but a wrist watch?
I found as I got older, I would wear a watch to bed because my eyesight was bad enough that I couldn't read a clock that was 3 ft away on a nightstand. But on my wrist? No problem! So these days, about the only time I don't wear a watch is in the shower.
Yes, but its a black Fitbit Charge 5 so it basically looks like a bracelet. GF gives me a hard time about the number of "steps" it accrues while playing.
