In regards to the specific question, what TYPE of bass you bring to the John, it should be clear to everyone that the P is the best for the Poop. I would never bring my J to the loo, as clearly the J is for...something entirely different.

Yes. It's been said(and I've said it myself) that everything that could be said about Fender has been said many many times. I started thinking "Surely not evertyhing has been said about Fender." I honestly think I have stumbled upon some new Fender discussion territory here.

OK, I have noticed that Fenders pretty much are painted in colors you'd see on toilet seats, so maybe my reticence about this is I don't want to confuse one for the other. Still, having read this thread, all I want to do now is take a shower. And not with any of my basses.
