I know I said I'm not much of a drinker,...and I'm not,....but I went through a phase for a bit where I enjoyed Tequila. Which I found out is a beverage that most people say it disgusting and hate it. I thought it odd that for someone who doesn't really drink, the only hard liquor that agreed with me was the one everyone else didn't like. Anyway, the way I mixed it up became known as the gasoline margarita. 1 whiskey glass, 3 ice cubes, Tequila and a lime wedge.
At my for er residence, all the houses were house, driveway, house driveway, etc, as per usual. Except mine and my neighbor to the right. Our houses were built where there was an old pass through road and for some reason, they put the driveway as next to each other. There was just a 4' chain link fence between us, so we were always chatting and lending each other tools, etc. One Sunday, I decided to change the oil on my vehicle. He was already out in his driveway. He said he was working on his boat, but he was just lathered up, sitting in it, listening to the radio. I thought, seems fun, I'll join in. So went in and grabbed my new bottle of 1800. He was good with whatever fruity concoction he had, so I ended up drinking a good bit of the Tequila myself. Long story longer,... I never did change my oil. All I remember is laying on my back with my against the fence, extremely pissed off that the Ford manual was only in French, I remember my neighbor laughing at me (which I didn't realize was "at" me at the time), and I remember eating half a burnt frozen pizza before passing out. Which was either in the basement or a bathroom. Not important.
So, I suggest you hold off on the limes. Those things are bad news.
There was one other time that I consumed tequila with limes in similar quantity and I was told that I asked my FIL if he still wanted to marry me.
That's never been corroborated.
