this is neither dumb nor funny, it's sad. Be on the lookout for that P-bass.

Thank you,

CRAP brother that sucks in an unbelievable and unspeakable way.
They didn't just grab and go with all of THAT.

No surveillance ?

and of course NOBODY saw anything I presume.:rollno:

Saw this on the local Musicians page. Trolling, or reverse psychology?

Do you play bass?

Do you play bass? Have you always wanted to play guitar, but lacked any ambition to get any good at it and picked up a bass? Do you just want to kinda play but not take anything seriously? If you play in a band do you often times make your tone so muddy and turn down so low that you bass riffs are really only implied rather than heard? Do you sometimes forget that your amp is off? Does playing more than one note at a time or the thought of understanding chords scare you?

THEN CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY! YOU ARE THE BASS PLAYER WE'RE LOOKING FOR!

It's not for quitters!

Quitar by Quitar Research - $40 (across from mount Carmel east)
I have a quitar research that I bought about 7 years a go. I bought it brand new and hardly use it. I am not into it anymore. See pics.

Can't resize the photo as that's the size on the ad. It's a Fender. Picture unrelated?

Terrifying Guitarist seeks freaks ...

.. to form a guitar oriented cover party band. Think of it as a sort of tribute to guitar rock in general. I need high caliber players with stage presence who want to deliver a SHOW rather than just play a few gigs for extra cash. This is more about FUN than it it is for profit. But don't get me wrong. You will be expected to rehearse, learn your parts and take a professional approach to bringing this to life!

I want to hear from DRUMMERS, BASSISTS, and GUITARISTS who have VOCAL ability and a desire to do something other that slap a poopie list together and play 16+ gigs a month!!

THIS IS NOT GONNA BE A FULL TIME GIG ~ so if your looking for "work", please move on. This is for pro-minded yet casual players who wanna craft a great rock and roll show and put it on a stage once in a while. We'll play hard rocking jams and unexpected remakes with our own creative influence schmeered all over them. I got connections, gettin gigs will not be a problem at all. We'll also have laid back rehearsals that will include beer, buds and bbq. Familys and girlfriends or whatever are welcome to attend as well. This is NOT a job damnit, I can swill brew with the best of them, but when show time comes you have to be able to deliver, and NO ONE can do that if they're tanked!

I lay this straight the shag out cause I don't appreciate switch hitters and bullshiters. I know what I want and I don't want to waste your time if you're not interested in same thing. I know I kind of sound like a demanding *******, but that's only because I am one, so it comes out that way. Truth be told I'm laid back and straight up. I ******** no one and I won't leave you hanging. I will tell you what I think straight out unlike a lot of guys I've met through here. I'm just sick of guys who talk a big game and can't deliver, guys who THINK they are too good to rehearse, guys who are too BLASTED by the second set to play anything right, and ESPECIALLY guys who get their foot in the door and then try to sell me on a "their vision" instead. ~ I AM NOT INTERESTED.

So if your still interested hit me up with examples of what you do.

This is my favorite thread. Worst part? This guy is a bass player.

Hey you. Yeah, you- with the greasy face. (St. Louis)

Are you sitting around, thinking you'd like to play music with people, but are like, "I'm just not good enough." or, "I get anxiety diarrhea."?

It's imperative that you're around 20-24. I'm 23 myself, so I want my bandmates to also be bandbuddies that I can hang out with comfortably. Sorry Old Man Jenkins, maybe next time.

It's also imperative that you're a hot chick. Okay, scratch that. Better not set the bar TOO high. Sasquatch would come into my room and play saxophone before that happened. Saxsquatch. Pretty clever, huh? THAT'S the punplay and creative force I bring to my music. Do I hear a laughtrack? Must be my tinnitus.

So yeah, that's that. You don't need band experience, you don't need "road-worthy" gear, hell- you don't even need boobs. Yeah, I'm being THAT generous here.

Anyway, hit me up or goblins will eat your face.

Also, if we were to form a band, we'd play Super Smash Bros. ALL. THE. TIME.

Professional-minded players who don't want to treat it as a job or play steady? Dude who's into partying with his band members but doesn't want anyone getting tanked? I suppose that being able to entertain two opposing ideas or concepts in one's head is a sign of intellectual maturity. :\

He could use a little polish here and there, but he's actually pretty good. With a band, I could see him fitting into the poppy indie scene like Maroon 5 or Kings of Leon.

He needs a little bit more professionalism on the marketing side of things, though.

He needs reigning in a little bit, as he has a bit of a tendency to ramble, but his foundations show promise I think.

I'd be happy to work with that sort of material.
